Ballades - Socialisation Walks

NEXT  SOCIAL WALK

TO BE DECIDED DURING WINTER MONTHS

I get many people saying that they miss the opportunity to walk their dogs with other dogs, and especially in a controlled situation.

From time to time I organise a get together were people can meet other dog walkers and walk their dogs together.

On these walks I ask that everyone keeps their dogs on the lead.   The intention is to socialise while keeping firm control.   If, at the end of that walk some people want to go ahead and do another walk with their dogs off lead that is fine and very welcome, but the main purpose is for some people to have the opportunity to practice nice manners on the lead, while in the company of other dogs.

The walk  is held around a very small lake.  A complete circuit of the lake takes perhaps 15 - 20 minutes so expect to walk around it more than once !   Parking is  right alongside and the ground is flat.

WHERE ?      The Plan D'eau at St Juvat, in the vicinity of Dinan - Evran - Caulnes.     I will send  further directions if you email me.

WHAT TO BRING ?

~ Well, obviously a dog!  If you have more than one dog and find it hard to control both together you can walk one dog at a time.  There will be time to return to your car to change dogs.

~ Poo bags to clean up after your dog.

~ A toy, titbits or something to use to keep your dogs attention.

Please contact me for further information.    See you there !

 FRANCAIS
